Watched "Lifeboat". For the first time in non-squinty and in colour *bounces* Watched the commentary too... bit disappointing, although bounced when Peter Woeste (was it him? I don't remember...) said that what made it was Teryl reacting to all the different personalities in Daniel (or something along those lines) Took him long enough to say it... ;)

But they didn't mention anything about the scene, so I'm going to have to hijack laurajo's question to Teryl from SG-7 and ask Peter deLuise if he thought that she was sounding a bit possessive over Daniel's body ;)

Hehehe.

Meesh... Wendy *more hugs* I don't care that it was late - loved it! And yes, it is all Teryl's fault (what they must think at the college office, I don't know!)

Anyway. Lost City Part 2 is sitting on my J-drive, ready to be watched. I've been very good and avoided all spoilers so far *twitches*

So shall disappear and watch it before I cave in *g*

Essay extension

Well, I have an extra five days in whic to do my Human Origins and Diversity essay. I love the anthropology department. They're just so helpful and nice (archaeology department is not so much, although they're bearable most of the time)

Of course, I still don't know what the titles are... will have to grab K or S at some point in the near future (like, tomorrow! *g*)

But that's taken this huge weight off of my shoulders, because I was thinking that even if I knew the essay titles and I'd picked one, I wouldn't have been able to finish it. For one thing, it is near impossible to get a hold of the books you need in the library. But, as mostly everyone else will have finished with them... *happy sigh*

I also went shopping again. Food shopping I hasten to add (although I did look at birthday/mother's day/get well soon cards. For brother's birthday, they're all like "To a great brother" or "If I could pick my brother, I'd choose you". Where are the "Meh, I'm somehow related to you so figured I'd better get you a card" cards? The one that I liked the best was "It's your birthday, what does that mean? For a day, mum will pretend to like you as much as she likes me *g*" Might have to get that one. As for get well soon... I don't actually want a "Sorry you're sick" one. Card companies haven't really cottoned on to the whole "sorry you've broken your foot/leg/ankle/other random body part" thing yet. Oh, and belated birthday cards are also pants "I'm sorry I forgot" is the most common. But I didn't forget... I just didn't quite manage to buy and post a card! Hmm... maybe I'll get a blank card and it can work as all 3 for my mother - birthday, mother's day and get better soon!!!)

Suddenly had a random thought which I wanted to insert, but can't for the life of me remember what it was! *thinks* No, pretty sure it's completely gone.

Anyway. Have worked out simple equation. Me + Marks and Spencer food court = bad

Have ended up with tasty things... however prices in there do not suit a student's budget. (In my defence, Safeway is the other end of town and while it is cheaper, it's also rather crap quality. Mostly. This is why I need a car next year, so I can go to the Tesco on the industrial estate. Vicki + Tesco = happy camper. Even if without car, will most likely worship Tesco online and pay the money for the delivery. Because Safeway will still be at the bottom of the hill and there is a limited amount of food you can carry)

So yeah. Morning was productive.

Afternoon also productive. Vicki wrote fic. Fic which = the sequel(s) to fic Vicki wasn't sure about sequeling because... actually, don't remember why not because. There were reasons (and pretty good reasons at that if I remember correctly. Which I might not do)

Had fun starting to type up fic. Because have wireless keyboard, can sit on bed, have the font as size 18 and can type from other side of the room in comfort. That amused me. Is also useful as keyboard has 'skip' short-cut key which actually works on WMP, so when watching music videos and deciding that you don't want to watch this one, you don't have to move from the bed. Which is very, very good! *g*

Remembered quote from "Little Women" earlier, when Jo comes out with "I'll wear my hair in pigtails until I'm twenty." Possibly prompted by the fact that my hair has been in pigtails for the past week or so (managed to break about four hair bands in that time too). Must remember not to tie hair up when hair is damp, or sleep on damp hair as hair goes wavy and kinky. Have also random strange desire for fic where Janet has pigtails. Brain has already come up with the scenario *facepalms*

Ooh, going back to fic again. Found piece of paper with random fic idea on. Very much liked random fic idea, so will be looking at that in more detail in near future. Idea is completely hijacked from episode of another TV show, but as the idea does exist in RL too, it doesn't really matter.

*thinks* I think that's it. You're all probably hoping that's it. In my defence, I'm rather tired so will quite possibly crash into bed very, very soon.

Oh, and my left hand is trembling and has been doing so on and off since about ten past one this afternoon. Which is strange.
