Apparently I should have waited to write pirates fic, because this Christmas I get to have first hand experience of the Caribbean!

15 day cruise, 9 Caribbean islands, spending Christmas and New Year's at sea!

I'm choosing my excursions now - SO exciting!

(Plus, the Queen Mary 2 has the largest library at sea! And a book group!)


ETA: Does anyone have any experience/recommendations, because there's SO MUCH to choose from! We'll be visiting Grant Turk, Tortola, St. Maarten, Curacao, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Thomas. I AM SO EXCITED!

The QM2? So jealous. My dad and I were talking about how awesome it would be to go on 2 the other day! We're thinking of a cruise NEXT Christmas, so Id like to hear how yours goes!

We had old family friend's who lived in the Caribbean for years until they moved to South Carolina ... always wanted to go visit where Kimmy grew up before passed away. I *THINK* their house was at St Maarten. But they hopped frequently.

I have no experience/recommendations about the Caribbean, having never been there, but my parents just went on a one week cruise on the QM2 and said it was absolutely amazing!
