...because after feeding it to my housemates, all but one believe that it has an aftertaste of cheese. The one remaining declares it "vomit"

I have to say that I do not like the aftertaste of Hershey's chocolate. Also, the Cadbury's that you buy here in the US is made by Hershey and has a similar aftertaste.

I don't know about it tasting like cheese though, let alone it tasting like pizza. That's going just a bit too far ...

It's interesting, because I've told people here that I don't like Hershey's chocolate as it has a nasty aftertaste, and they look at me like I'm weird. Apparently they've just never had good chocolate.

I have had, and greatly appreciate, good chocolate. But I grew up on Hershey's, and like it just fine too. *shrug*

I've never thought about it have an aftertaste, but I actually like it.

I like the cookies and cream, in small amounts but the normal hersheys is just ming (I can see where your flatmate got the vomit thing from!)

Peanut butter cups are nice however!
