Summary: She's lying to herself.
Notes: Actually a drabble this time omg! And um. Last line. Yeah.... Have I mentioned how much I hate my muse lately?!



She tried to tell herself that she didn't know why she lied.

But she was lying to herself.

She tried to tell herself that she would do it for any of them. That if it had been Gibbs or McGee lying in that bed then she would done the same.

But she was lying to herself again.

She turned her head to the side and looked across at him.

Why did you lie? Why did you stay? The voice in her head almost seemed to be mocking her.

She knew the answer.

Because I'd rather die myself, than lose Tony.
